I have created these designs for things like an album cover, website footer and logo for the band using PicsArt and photos that I have taken. I travelled recently and took various photos of windows from cathedrals. The really bright colours attracted me and I thought that I could use the fact that a convention from the psychedelic genre is strong-coloured and patterned album covers.

As Tame Impala's albums have mixed patterns, I decided to make a collage of cutouts of these photos edited. I edited them playing around with contrast, brightness and saturation using PicsArt.

I then decided to stretch and play around with 'swirl' effects so it would create a more psychedelic look.

I found that this one worked best as the images were clearer yet still the patters had a psychedelic effect.
I then went onto cutting the image to 1:1 (which is the album cover format size) and added a circle with a chosen font with the name of the band and of the album.

I then used my Art A-level coursework to add the final piece from it onto the album. I did this because my Art final piece has strong colours and patters, fitting in with the genre.
