This is my own 6-sided digital-pack:

Outer part of digi-pack

Inside part of digi-pack

First of all, I used Adobe Photoshop Pro and then used PicsArt for the lettering as the font 'Orbitron' was only available there. I decided to make it 6 sides (as there are different numbers of faces that can be on a digi-pack) as it was the most common format that I found. I also decided to have black as the main colour so it would look classic and professional. I chose to use it so it would make a greater contrast with the images and the cover design, appealing to the conventions of the psychedelic music genre (the use of strong colours and shapes).

On the outer side of my digi-pack, I decided to have the front cover be simple yet thorough. I wanted that the band name was clear and easy to read and setting the image below made the genre obvious. On the left face are the titles of the album's songs. I did this as like the Indie-folk genre band 'Mumford & Sons' did on the album that I analysed they placed the songs behind. I also saw that production company names had to be below, so I looked for some famous production company logos like 'Virgin' and edited them to be black and white to fit the colour scheme of my cover. As the pack is supposed to be selling in shops, I placed a bar code to make it more realistic. I then chose to fill the face of the far right with the main album's image, for it to show how the whole album is entitled to be about the psychedelic/alternative rock genre.

On the inside of my digi-pack , I decided to use images that I took of my sister in my house (As I play the drums I own a drum-kit, we also own a piano and microphone) and edited them using PicsArt. I took these images mainly for the website but I thought that including them would follow the alternative genre because you can see the band on the digi-pack. I also used images I took of the setting (walls with graffitis and black and white tiles) and decided to blend them together with the band ones to make it look a lot more interesting and psychedelic. Like the 'Mumfords & Sons'' album, some image information about the band or a place that related to them or the music is clear to be seen in the inside side. I decided to then put the name of the band again with the title of the cover below, focusing now on the name of this album in particular. I also added some red, white and yellow lines to give it a subtle detail that would make it interesting and wrap it all up without it looking 'too much'. I then invented some names of the band players (as Tame Impala is actually not a band and is just a touring act).
