About the Director of our Music Video Love/Paranoia

This is famous Director Eden Rigby. She has won a BAFTA Award for her Short film 'Identity'. We have had the pleasure to get her to direct our special Love/Paranoia Music Video, as we feel that it is our greatest hit up until now. She therefore has helped portray how we feel about this song, visually.

This song was motivated by a romantic mishap, being a girl attempting to fix her broken heart by painting her way out of pain. As she explains: 'I wanted to portray heartbreak in a different way than it is conventionally done. I also wanted to truly reflect the beat and feeling of the song by things such as colours, tone and props. For me, the most important thing was coming up with the setting and props as they were a completely crucial part of this. It was also specially tricky to get it all right and in harmony as so many things had to be controlled at once; like for example our actresses' clothing, the colours from the paint, the chosen fruits and drinks based on colour and meaning, the material she would draw on and where she would be located. In less words, we found this a real challenge. Thanks to my team we managed to do this exactly how I expected it to look and gracefully the band loved it.'
